Fast, scalable and easy-to-use

I build Webflow websites for agencies, startups and established companies. By using the CMS and components properly, I make sure your non-technical people can update, change and maintain your marketing website.

This page is a showcase of some of the different kinds of work I've done to give you a general idea of my skills and experience. More work and references are available upon request.

Five sites, and their unique challenges

Every one of these is live. The dates are how long the relationship lasted, not how long the build took.

Spain

CARTO

Spatial data analytics company. Rebuilt the company's WordPress site in Webflow and grew it to 100+ pages with a complex CMS structure.

‍

After the build, I've maintained and improved the website for 3 years, adding the occasional extra functionality as the marketing team needed. They've since updated the design.

‍

Uses Hubspot, IP geolocation, and a lot of simple but effective JS to circumvent some of Webflow limitations against their workflow.

Advencap

Asset manager. Figma to Webflow. Mostly very simple, notable because this is where I first used Client-First and decided it's my preferred method of working.

‍

Uses F'insweet attributes for CMS filtering.

Anything Goes

Entertainment Agency. Figma to Webflow. A media-heavy site built to Client-First conventions.

‍

Video-led throughout (which is why it was hard to get a good screenshot), with the events and case-study archives running on the CMS.

This one uses very complex CMS connections and a bit of finnicky JS to make those complex CMS connections work with the F'insweet attribute filters.

Neoecotex

A job board for innovators on the textile industry. We had Figma designs, and ideas about the general workflow.

‍

Multiple different types of memberships, all able to sign up, sign in, edit their profile info, post or reply to innovation requests without ever leaving the website.

‍

Built on Webflow with Memberstack for memberships, Airtable for databases, Zapier and custom JavaScript for the automation and general functionality.

Alpha Unmanned Systems

UAV manufacturer. They needed to be off WordPress fast, so we picked a template together, and quickly migrated their content.

‍

We've also updated the template to fit their brand, aesthetics, and their needs on the CMS side. Also made sure they weren't losing any of their hard-earned SEO by keeping the slugs the same, and setting up redirects for the pages we weren't migrating.

‍

I've also made sure to clean up some of the template elements for easier usage and expansion for their non-technical team.

What I do

The half that doesn't screenshot

A screenshot shows the build. It can't show the CRM behind the form, the logic behind the login, or the automation that stops someone re-typing the same record twice.

A form the API wouldn't support

CARTO

The multi-step form CARTO needed couldn't be built on HubSpot's current Forms API, so I built it against the legacy one instead. The visitor sees a form that works. Nobody sees the part where the documented route was a dead end.

Pages that know where you are

CARTO

IP-based geolocation swaps page content by visitor region, so a reader in the US and a reader in the EU are served the right thing without anyone maintaining two sites.

Banners that expire themselves

CARTO, Textcortex

Promotional banners activate and come down on their own against a specified timezone. The marketing team schedules a campaign once instead of remembering to switch it off at midnight in a country they don't live in.

A fully automated job board

Neoecotex

A job board with multiple membership types, each firing its own automated application and posting workflow through Memberstack, Airtable, Zapier and a bit of JavaScript.

A filter that reaches across collections

Most websites

Filtering on most of these sites is built with Finsweet Attributes. Anything Goes was the hardest between these: collections referencing other collections, and F'insweet Nest being less than cooperative with it's siblings.

A CMS the marketing team can hold

Alpha Unmanned Systems, CARTO

Migrated off WordPress and restructured everything so the marketing team doesn't need a developer to make changes and try out new strategies.

Built inside someone else's system

Agency work

For agencies I adapt to their conventions and class systems. If there is nothing already set up, or any hard requirements, I prefer Client-First.

From the people who kept calling back

sıx, verbatim

"It was great working with Gunduz, very knowledgeable developer, responsible and accountable. Recommended!"

Riche Devine - Founder

"Fantastic work on this project! I was very happy to work with Gunduz through the various stages of this build. He was able to efficiently adapt to our methods and had a great knowledge of Client First.

‍

Great communicator and all-round good guy!"

George Brown - Digital designer and Webflow developer

“Gunduz is excellent! We've worked with him multiple times and he always delivers. He has a methodical and analytical approach to projects that always results in a smooth flowing development solution.”

Daniel Dunclyde - Founder

“He's not only a great coder, but he is also a fantastic communicator and devoted as much time as necessary to calls and updates to ensure that we were always on the same page with the project and the tasks that needed to be done.”

Allie

"We live in Washington State and hired Gunduz to help us with a complicated website process. It involved using various platforms to automate an online process for e-commerce.

‍

Gunduz listened and understood our idea of how to make it work, found the pitfalls and helped guide the project in a direction that could be successfully executed. When asked to make UX updates to the website that required custom coding, he promptly made the adjustments without leveraging the agreed on scope of work.

‍

We highly recommend Gunduz!"

Stone Faison - Founder

I've worked with Gunduz on two corporate migration projects to Webflow, and he's been an invaluable support on both occasions. He's technically very strong and consistently responsive, with a diligent approach to project management that keeps deliverables on track.

‍

What stands out most is his approach to solving problems and his flexibility: he quickly finds workarounds when issues come up and keeps the pressure on to make sure deadlines are met. He also brings genuinely useful advice to the table, often suggesting ways to simplify implementation and improve the end-user experience.

‍

I'd fully recommend Gunduz to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled Webflow developer for both complex and simpler migration projects.
